Exciting news from our Middle East team! Emtrons is proud to be part of the prestigious King Salman Park (KSP) project in Saudi Arabia — one of the world’s largest urban parks, designed to transform Riyadh’s landscape and help reduce the city’s temperature by up to 12 degrees Celsius.

 

This visionary project, set to become a global model for urban sustainability and livability, recently gained further international attention with a visit from German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. His visit highlighted the global significance of KSP — not only as a cultural and recreational landmark but also as a vital environmental initiative for the region. It was in that moment we truly recognized the scale and significance of the project we are privileged to contribute to.

Taking part in a project of this magnitude also came with challenges that Emtrons was proud to meet head-on:

1. Extreme high temperatures — With Riyadh’s summer temperatures often exceeding 50°C, the emergency backup systems needed to be engineered for exceptional thermal durability. Emtrons conducted rigorous high-temperature endurance tests on all components, meeting requirements for up to 75°C resistance. This ensured stable operation, safety, and long-term reliability even under continuous extreme heat conditions.

2. The demand for advanced DALI 2.0 emergency lighting — intelligent, flexible, and precise solutions.

3. Tight project schedule — requiring fast lead times, prompt delivery, and continuous on-site technical support from our local team.

4. Extensive compatibility testing — to ensure stable integration with the entire DALI system infrastructure.

5. Full certification — with every product meeting global safety and quality benchmarks to guarantee compliance and reliability.
